Gate & Clubhouse Access
Effective July 1, 2010, the HBHOA implemented a new Gate Access Policy. You will still have several options for gate access including a remote control, swipe card, owner gate code, and remote access for guests via the call box. The clubhouse access will remain unchanged. Boat Storage Reservations
Heron Bay offers boat storage spaces for property owners who wish to park watercraft in a secure storage area. The cost for reserving a space $100 annually. The funds collected from boat storage fees will be used for future expansion of the boat storage facility. Follow the Boat Storage Reservation instructions to rent your space. Property owners should contact Cedar Management pgreiner@cedarmanagementgroup.com if you wish to swap your space with a different space to better suit your watercraft.

"No Trespassing" Signs
Some of our residents have requested additional legal protection for their property. The ARC approved the installation of "No Trespassing" signs for individual properties. The approved sign matches the style and color with other signs in the community. The dimensions for the sign are 12" x 24" and must be mounted on a white 4" x 4" wood or vinyl post. The top of the sign cannot exceed 24" from the ground. The sign should be purchased from Peachtree Business Products, 1-800-241-4623.

Residential Trash Pickup
Call Wheels in Motion at (336) 461-2169 or Gene Hartman at (336) 688-0881 for trash services.

Boat Ramp Extension
The HBHOA has approved dredging and extension of the boat ramp to provide continuous operation even during low-water drought conditions. Work must be done when lake levels are low, and should begin when low-level conditions next occur. Check out the detailed plans on this page.

Fire Ant Information
Fire Ants are sweeping the nation - from California to as far north as Kansas and Maryland - and have reached parts of North Carolina. If you (or someone you know) has them, click here for professional tips for dealing with fire ants.

Lake Level Update
For the past 50 years, Badin Lake has typically operated within three feet of full pond (except during drought conditions), making it a great place for boating, fishing, skiing, tubing and more. For the latest lake levels and trends, please click here.
