Our Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CCRs) were approved in 1994.  For thirty-one years, our covenants have served the community well in many respects.  They are, however outdated, and lacking in some areas that could not have been anticipated at the date of their publication.  In others, laws affecting our community have been impacted by court opinion that renders our CCRs not as strong as current day legal reviews would require should they be challenged in court.

For these reasons, the board unanimously approved the formation of a special committee to review our CCRs and revise them as needed to align with current standards. This would be the first step in the process and would end in a majority vote of approval by the home and property owners in Heron Bay.
